We are both long haul Airline Stewardesses working for a major British carrier. Our first book, “You F’Coffee Sir?!!!” was written in secret during trips away with work and also during the precious down time at home recovering from jet lag. It was very well loved and yes, it did very nicely thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed our time as secret authors and we described the experience of all our years on board in stockings and lipstick, facing the travelling public and often disgracing the travelling public. We are cheeky, blunt and honest and we were delighted with the fact that the “Shameless” un-shockable generation embraced our mix of glamorous vulgarity and raw honesty. “You F’Coffee Sir?!!!” has travel, fabulous destinations, glamour, romance, drama, fashion, and music. It’s full of information, it’s honest and it’s emotional. It’s got loads of good advice and explanations, it’s positive, it’s life affirming and in the words of their website readers, it’s also “as funny as f*ck”. What more could we ask?
We have done some great things since 2007 including writing articles for Men’s Health magazine and the Financial Times, working on various aviation related sites, guiding and advising on forums, producing our own ebook magazine, becoming agony aunts, working on a line of fashion clothing, producing a CD to go with our book, in fact just lots of really great experiences that we loved showing to all our regular readers and followers.
The last few years have seen some upheaval, including a long illness for one of us and a career break for the other, so here with WordPress we are displaying our body of work, adding blogs and updates, tweeting on what inspires or infuriates us and, all things being equal, finally getting our second book out for everyone to read!
